Mini Hand-drawn Portrait

These portraits aren’t like a photo, they aren’t generated in a flash. But what they are is incredibly human; super cute and rooted in affection.

This listing is for an A6 Mini Single Person Portrait - drawn in my signature portrait style. I can add small extra details to the background, or text - just leave me a note at checkout.

You can order multiple people but please note these will be individual portraits on separate pieces of paper. If you’d like a family or couple portrait see my other listings. 

They’re hand-drawn by a girl who loves sharks and ancient history, who eats too many biscuits with brews and who smiles to herself when you tell me about the faces behind the photos. A girl who happily adds cute sidekicks and favourite caps in, and who totally relates to the “sorry my 2 year old won’t smile for a photo”. A girl who probably swears to herself as she’s drawing them, hands splotted in ink, in her garden studio usually 15•c hotter than she’d like it.

So many AI portraits are flooding the market but they feel flat, too samey, too rendered, no emotions just the same wide grins. But my portraits emerge and capture you in just a few organic inky swooshes in my signature drawing style. I couldn’t draw two the same if I tried, that’s sort of the point. 

Basically, my portraits capture the chaotic coziness of real life, not just the perfect bits but the bits worth remembering all the same. They’re not photo perfect and don’t try to be. But they look like home.

HOW TO ORDER

1. Upload your photographs - they need to be clear, closer up photos of faces. You can send multiple individual photos if you like, I can select the one that works best for me to work from, but seeing photos helps me get a sense of the person so I don’t mind if you send over a couple. Also for group portraits you can send individual photos over if needed.
2. Leave any requests or special details you’d like me to include in a note at checkout or send them over in an email. 
3. Your portrait will be sent to you via First Class Royal Mail in a hard backed envelope.
